Aaj Ka Panchang, January 18, 2022: The Panchang for Tuesday or Mangalwar will mark the Pratipada Tithi in the Pausha month which is currently under the Krishna Paksha of the moon phase. The day will also mark the festival of Thaipusam or Thai Poosam. The Hindu festival is mostly celebrated by the Tamil community and falls in the Tamil solar month of Thai, the solar month of Makara in other Hindu calendars.
SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE AND MOONSET ON JANUARY 18
According to Panchang, sunrise is expected at 7:15 AM. The timing for sunset is expected to be 5:49 PM. The moon will rise at 6:06 p.m. Tuesday, while the moonset timing is predicted to be 7:38 a.m.
TITHI, NAKSHATRA AND RASHI DETAILS FOR JANUARY 18TH
The Pratipada tithi will be in effect until 06:53 AM on January 19, after which it will fall in Dwitiya tithi. The Pushya nakshatra or constellation will be in effect until 06:43 am on January 19th after which Ashlesha nakshatra will come into effect. The moon will be in Karka Rashi. The sun will be in Makara Rashi.
SHUBH MUHURAT BEFORE JANUARY 18
According to Panchang, the Ravi Yoga will not prevail on Tuesday, but the Abhijit muhurat will be in effect from 12:10 am to 12:53 pm. The Brahma muhurat times according to Panchang are from 5:27 am to 6:21 am while the Godhuli muhurat takes effect from 5:38 pm and reigns until 6:02 pm. Amrit Kalam will rule on January 19 from 11:45 PM to 1:29 AM while the Sayahna Sandhya muhurat will take effect at 5:49 PM and will remain so until 7:09 PM.
ASHUBH MUHURAT BEFORE JANUARY 18
Panchang predicts that the Aadal muhurat will be in effect on January 19 from 7:15 am to 6:43 am. Times for Dur Muhurtam are from 9:21 AM to 10:04 AM. The Yamaganda muhurat will rule from 9:53 AM to 11:12 AM while the Gulikai Kalam muhurat will rule from 12:32 PM to 1:51 PM.
