BENGALURU: Accenture is course more than 250,000 people in AI. The company recently said it is investing $3 billion in its data over three years AI practice to help clients in all sectors. The data and AI practice will double its AI talent base to 80,000 professionals through a mix of hiring, acquisitions and training.
In an earnings call, Accenture CEO Julie Sweet said: “We’ve already trained approximately 600,000 of our people in the fundamentals of AI. And we’re taking the next step to equip more than 250,000 people… and build new AI tools to use it in a fair manner, sustainably and without prejudice.
With investments in our AI academy focused on deep AI and gen-AI specialization, we are also making progress toward our goal of doubling our deeply skilled data and AI practitioners from 40,000 to 80,000.” Accenture sees the early days of monetizing genAI deals.
