FMCG company Dabur India Limited said on Friday that Amit Burman has stepped down as chairman of the company with effect from 10 August 2022.
Amit Burman, who took over as chairman of Dabur India Ltd in 2019, will continue to serve as a non-executive director of the company.
Mohit Burman has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dabur India Limited effective 11 August for a term of 5 years. Before being appointed to the new position, Mohit Burman was a non-executive vice chairman of the company.
The board of directors of Dabur India Limited approved the changes to the company’s top positions at a meeting held on 11 August 2022.
“In accordance with the provisions of Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we would like to inform you that on August 11, 2022, the Board of Directors will make the following changes to the position of Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Company Dabur India Limited said in a regulatory filing to the exchanges.
The decisions of the Board of Directors include “acceptance of the resignation of Amit Burman from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company with effect from the closing of business hours on August 10, 2022. Amit Burman remains the Non-Executive Director from the company.”
