New Delhi:
Indian exports fell 12.2 percent to $34.48 billion in December 2022, from $39.27 billion according to data released today by the Ministry of Commerce.
December 2022 imports also fell to $58.24 billion from $60.33 billion in the same month last year.
During April-December of this fiscal year, the country’s total exports rose 9 percent to $332.76 billion. Imports during the period rose 24.96 percent to $551.7 billion.
Commerce Minister Sunil Barthwal said Indian exports have held their own despite global headwinds.
