NEW DELHI:
A Bank of India official said Thursday that a focus on infrastructure spending would help the country curb supply-side inflation in the long term.
Sitikantha Pattanaik, an executive director at the Reserve Bank of India, spoke at an event in New Delhi.
Ashima Goyal, a member of India’s Monetary Policy Committee, told of the event that uneven rainfall in some regions could affect crop production and may not bode well for inflation.
