Pepsico Reported mixed quarterly results on Tuesday when the demand for his snacks and drinks in Noord -America fell for the fifth consecutive quarter.
Shares of the company fell more than 1% on the trade in premarket.
This is what the company reported compared to what Wall Street expected, based on a study among analysts by LSEG:
- Profit per share: $ 1.96 adapted versus $ 1.94 expected
- Turnover: $ 27.78 billion versus $ 27.89 billion expected
Pepsi reported the net income of the fourth quarter that was attributed to the $ 1.52 billion company, or $ 1.11 per share, an increase of $ 1.3 billion or 94 cents per share, a year earlier .
Exclusive restructuring, value reductions and other items earned the food and drinking company $ 1.96 per share.
The net turnover fell 0.2% to $ 27.78 billion.
The organic income of the company, which excludes acquisitions, divestments and foreign exchange, rose by 2.1% in the fourth quarter.

“In 2024, the salty and savory snack categories about wider packaged food performed, after several years in which these categories had performed food,” said CEO Ramon Laguarta and CFO Jamie Caulfield in prepared comments.
The North -American beverage unit of the company reported a decrease of 3% in the quarterly volume. But there were some clear places for the division, when Gatorade got market share and Mountain Dew Baja Blast surpassed $ 1 billion in annual turnover.
Quaker Foods Noord -America, who was still staggered from a recall from the previous December, saw his volume fall 6%. The company expects Quaker's performance to improve in 2025, because it turns the fall -out of the recall, managers said in prepared comments.
For 2025, Pepsi projects a low-single rise of its organic income and a mid-single figure increase in the core-constant currency profit per share.
“Looking ahead to 2025, we will continue to build on the successful expansion of our international activities, while we also take action to improve performance in North -America,” Laguarta said in a statement.
