Pakistani wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan celebrated his 30th birthday on Wednesday. Rizwan, who had great success with the bat in the year 2021, was also named Men’s T20I Player of the Year for his achievements with the willow. The 30-year-old also had a successful debut stint in England’s County cricket, sharing the locker room with Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara. Both Pujara and Rizwan made their debuts for Sussex in the same game, and the former had a special birthday wish for the wicketkeeper batter.
“Congratulations @iMRizwanPak! A fantastic year ahead,” Pujara captioned a photo of him and Rizwan.

Rizwan had recently praised Pujara, saying he wants focus and concentration levels from his teammate at Sussex.
“He’s a very nice and loving man. And so is his concentration and focus… If you get the chance to learn something, you should do it,” Rizwan had told Cricwick.
“In terms of concentration levels and I’ve told the coaches that here too. In my entire career, the players with the most concentration are Younis Bhai, Fawad Alam and his (Pujaras).”
Rizwan will now be seen in action during the upcoming three-game ODI series against the West Indies, which starts on June 8.
