India icons Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant's animated chat on the bench has become a big talking point on social media. A video surfaced on the internet of Virat talking to skipper Rohit about Rishabh Pant's dismissal. Kohli looked displeased when he saw Pant repeating the same mistakes in the middle and even had a chat with the India stump when he arrived in the Indian dugout. Pant took third place in the Indian team during the T20 World Cup and was a revelation, especially when the likes of Kohli and Rohit were dismissed cheaply. But the young wicketkeeper-batsman still has work to do in certain areas of the game.
Soon after Pant was dismissed in the match against Bangladesh while attempting a reverse sweep, Kohli and Rohit were involved in an intense argument. It seemed that the former was referring to Pant's dismissal during the chat. Even the commentators suggested the same.
“If he makes the same mistake twice – right now it's fine – but in big matches he can be in trouble because big teams don't miss these opportunities,” Piyush Chawla said. “Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli agree on that. Because they know what Pant is capable of.”

“You could see Kohli talking to him now. He played very well, Rishabh. Was it necessary to play a shot like that in that situation,” Deep Dasgupta said on air. His fellow commentator Sanjay Manjrekar also shared his views on the chatter. He further said, “If you noticed Virat Kohli's reaction… when Rishabh Pant stepped out, Kohli was unaware that the camera was on him. He reacted immediately and then hid his face with a towel. The way fans would have responded Until his dismissal, Kohli did the same.”
With India set to face Australia next and next in the semi-finals, the team will be hoping to do better in all aspects.
