The IPL 2023 will surely be remembered for the rivalry between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. After getting into an on-pitch altercation during their league stage game earlier this month, there was enough social media activity to keep the fire burning. This rivalry doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon, especially after Naveen-ul-Haq’s Instagram activity. But it’s not just the LSG pacesetter but his franchise whose tweet has got Kohli and RCB’s fans talking. The Faf du Plessis led team conceded a six wicket defeat to Gujarat Titans which also saw them fail to take their place in the Eliminator match against LSG.
Multiple on-field altercations occurred when the Royal Challengers and the Super Giants met on May 1. RCB batsman Kohli had a verbal altercation with LSG pacer Naveen-Ul-Haq, then home team mentor Gautam Gambhir also had an exchange with virtual.
Following this heated exchange, RCB had shared a video on social media where Kohli looked in high spirits as he celebrated his team’s epic triumph.
“That’s a sweet win guys, sweet win, let’s go!” the video begins with a pumped-up Kohli pronouncing the word, that’s how we do it. A few seconds into the video, the trusty RCB was heard to say, “If you can give it, take it. Otherwise don’t give it.”
Now, after RCB was eliminated from the tournament, LSG took the same words used by Kohli as he bid his franchise a farewell. “Give it? Take it? Let’s leave it that way. Well fought, @RCBTweets. See you next season,” LSG tweeted.
Give it? Take this? Let’s leave it.
well fought, @RCBTweets. Until next season.

Speaking of RCB’s final game, after Kohli hit a 61-ball 101 in RCB’s 197 for five, it looked like the best effort of the day, but Gill, who will be the torchbearer of Indian batting for the next 10 years, let see that he is better than the best.
What Kohli did well Gill did better as with his unbeaten 104 off 52 balls Titans chased the target with ease. Like former India captain Kohli, this was Gill’s second consecutive hundred.
Thus, Titans ended the league games with 20 points, while CSK finished second with 17 points ahead of Lucknow Super Giants due to better net run rate. Mumbai Indians, after their eight wicket victory against SRH, were back in the last four with 16 runs.
