Indian U-19 cricketer Nishant Sindhu has recovered from COVID-19 and will be available for selection on Wednesday for the all-important semi-final against Australia in the U-19 World Cup. Development will make all squad members available for the pivotal game. Sindhu had led the squad in two league games in the absence of Yash Dhull, who had tested positive before the game against Ireland along with four team members. Sindhu tested positive after the last league game against Uganda.
“They are all available for selection for the competition in Australia. Sindhu has tested negative,” an ICC source told PTI.
Record four-time champions India had beaten Australia in the warm-up for their tournament opener against South Africa.
