Virat Kohli had an unforgettable run in the recently concluded England Tour. In none of the matches in Tests, ODIs or T20Is against Englanr could the former captain of the Indian cricket team score highly. His run of scores in the recent Tour of England are 11, 20, 1, 11, 16 and 17. He is not part of the Indian squad for the upcoming Tour of the West Indies, where India will play three ODIs and five T20Is. Not a century since the end of 2019, several former players have spoken out about the long rope given to Kohli.
Former captain of the Indian cricket team, Sunil Gavaskar, has now touched on the aspects that can help Virat return to his best form.
“If I had about 20 minutes with him, I could tell him the things he might need to do. It might help him, I’m not saying it’ll help him, but it might, especially regarding those off- stump line,” Gavaskar told India Today.

“Because I was a lead-off hitter and had trouble with that line, there are certain things you try to do. If I get 20 minutes with him, maybe I can tell him.
“It goes back to the fact that his first mistake turns out to be his last. Again, just because he’s not at the points, there’s a fear of playing with every pitch because that’s what batters feel, they have to score. seems to play on deliveries you wouldn’t otherwise. But he’s also gotten good deliveries on this particular tour.”
