After clearing the West Indies in the three ODIs and the three-game T20I series, Team India’s focus now shifts to a three-game T20I series against Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma’s reign as India’s full-time white-ball captain has started off on a high note as the T20I series victory over the Windies has lifted them to the top of the pile in the ICC T20I men’s team rankings. With the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia later this year, Team India will continue to look for the right line-up ahead of the event.
While players like Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have been given a break from the BCCI for the upcoming series, the team welcomes veteran Ravindra Jadeja and star pacer Jasprit Bumrah back to the team.
