With the Indian batting unit failing to shine in the ongoing Test series in South Africa, many fans and pundits have been outraged by the form of Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant. During the ongoing second Test match, Pujara was sacked for three points from 33 balls and Rahane lost his wicket in the next delivery of the same for a golden duck in the first innings. The duo paid back the selectors’ confidence to some extent during the second innings, registering half a century and helping India give the Proteas a 240-run goal. Meanwhile, Pant could only collect 17 runs from 43 balls in the first innings and was sent off for a three-ball duck in the second innings as India was knocked out for 266. Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli shared his perspective on the situation, accusing ” 1-on-1 coaching”. He also accused personal coaching of becoming too “commercial”.
Kambli took to the social media platform Koo and wrote: “We really can’t blame the big players who are struggling with their bad form. In the current era, personal coaches deserve everything except for it to become commercial day by day and their first duty bluffing. I won’t take names, but I’m against 1-on-1 coaching.”
“Now is the right time to improve things because it is a matter of the future of the country’s team. It is our Indian cricket team,” he added.

The visitors are also without captain of the red ball, Virat Kohli, who has been eliminated due to a back cramp. He was seen in the venue prior to the first session on Day 3.
India won the first Test by 113 runs in Centurion and a win in the second match will help them take a 2-0 win in the three-game streak.
