The chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sourav Ganguly, said on Tuesday that there will be no crowd restrictions in the first test between India and Sri Lanka in Mohali and that spectators will be admitted according to government guidelines. . BCCI is asking the state associations to open according to the government guidelines. It is in line with government standards,” Ganguly told ANI.
“The Punjab Cricket Association will have a crowd according to government standards in Mohali Test. I have spoken with PCA President Rajinder Gupta and there will be no restrictions,” he added.
Immediately after Ganguly’s statement, Punjab Cricket Association Treasurer RP Singla confirmed that Mohali Test will have a 50 percent audience for the game.
“Yes, there will be a 50 percent crowd allowed for the Mohali test,” Singla told ANI.

The Mohali Test between India and Sri Lanka will be played from March 4-8.
Kohli will play his 100th test match under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, who will lead India in test matches for the first time. Kohli has racked up 7,962 runs in 99 tests averaging 50.39 with 27 tons to his name.
