Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan is one of the most jovial cricketers in the world. Dhawan, who leads the team in the ongoing ODI series against the West Indies, scored a brilliant 97 to lay the groundwork for the team’s victory in Friday’s first ODI. However, Dhawan drew laughs from his teammates with his hilarious antics while hunting the West Indies. The incident happened during the 37th over when Brandon Kings played a backfoot punch from Yuzvendra Chahal’s bowling.
Dhawan, who had been deployed at the covers, made an excellent dive to save some runs for his team.
However, Dhawan attempted a few push-ups before getting up, which sparked laughter from his teammates. Even the stand-in captain was seen smiling.
The commentators also laugh at Dhawan’s antics.
