MS Dhoni put on a vintage performance against Mumbai Indians to help Chennai Super Kings keep alive their hopes of making it to the play-offs of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Needing 17 runs from the final, Dhoni put out his best hitting Jaydev Unadkat around the park to get CSK across the line. Dhoni’s CSK teammates Ravindra Jadeja and Dwaine Pretorius were impressed by the masterclass on display and they praised the four-time IPL winning captain.

Previously, Mumbai Indians were limited to 155/7 after CSK pacer Mukesh Choudhary returned with three wickets. Choudhary fired Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Dewald Brevis. Tilak Varma scored the highest score for Mumbai Indians with a knock of 51 from 43 balls.
With this win, CSK now has four points and is in ninth place in the points table. They will face Punjab Kings next Monday.
