Pat Cummins was in fiery form as he went down an undefeated knockout to record the joint fastest 50 in Indian Premier League (IPL) history on Wednesday. The Aussie hit an unbeaten 56 from 15 balls in the five-wicket win of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune. Cummins hit his fifty in 14 balls, a similar feat to KL Rahul in 2018. Virender Sehwag led the reaction on Twitter as everyone took to the social media platform to greet Cummins. “Moonh se nivala cheen liya, sorry vada pav cheen liya. Pat Cummins, one of the most insane demonstrations of clean hitting, 15 ball 56…Jeera Batti,” wrote Sehwag.
