The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced the squads for the India Women’s T20I and ODI series in England. Notably, veteran sailor Jhulan Goswami has returned to the ODI squad after resting during India’s final appearance in the format against Sri Lanka. Jemimah Rodrigues has also been named in both squads, although she was ruled out of The Hundred’s ongoing season with an injury. The three-game T20I series will start on September 10, while the ODI series will start on September 18.
Kiran Navgire, who has impressed with her agility in domestic cricket, has been called up to the T20I for the first time.
This will be India’s first series since their appearance at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where they won the silver medal.
