Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently partied with social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry. “Chalo ek or mil gaya isko (He has another one)”, “Ye kya kar rhe ho yuzi paaji (What are you doing Yuzi brother?)” and “Unfollow krne chala (I'm going to unfollow) were some of the other comments on the post.
Yuzvendra Chahal is still one of the best wrist spinners in world cricket but will have to wait for his opportunity as Kuldeep Yadav is now an improved white-ball exponent, former Proteas main spinner Imran Tahir recently opined.
Tahir felt that left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep was able to seize the opportunities that came his way. Chahal, one of the best leg-break bowlers, is currently out of favor as he was not selected for the ODI World Cup in India last year and is unlikely to be part of the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup in West -India and the US in June.
“I don't think Yuzi was dropped because he wasn't performing. He was bowling very well but it was just that Kuldeep was bowling very well and he stepped up and formed this combination with Ravindra Jadeja,” said Tahir during PTI. a select interaction.
“I believe he is one of the best leg-spinners in the world and he should wait for his opportunity. So it is not because of his performance but just because the other guy took his chance. I have no doubt he will bounce .” back,” said Tahir, whose leg spin has taken nearly 300 international wickets across formats for South Africa.
