India's ODI and test captain Rohit Sharma returned to form during the recently closed series of three games against England against England. While in the first match of the ODI series Rohit was fired for 2 points, the second game witnessed one of the best beats of his bat. Rohit hit 119 runs from 90 balls using 12 fours and 7 sixes. The right -handed Slagman hit the English bowlers over the entire park in front of fun when his knock India helped to register a one -sided victory in the game.
Before the ODI series, Rohit was part of the tour of India through Australia, where he played three tests and only scored 31 points in the six innings. Such an arm was his performance that Rohit decided to drop himself for the last match of the series, even though he was the regular skipper of the side in the format. He then played Ranji trophy for Mumbai and there too his lean patch continued with the bat. Rohit could only score 3 and 28 about the two innings of the competition versus Jammu and Kashmir.
While Rohit played in the Domestic Tournament, his friend and India teammate Shardul Thakur was also part of the game for Mumbai. In a recent interview, Shardul revealed how self -confident Rohit was even during his bad shape with the bat.
“He played during Jammu and Kashmir Ranji Trophy match and did not succeed in scoring runs. He also couldn't score Runs in Australia tests. So we spoke normally. I told him a few things. He said: 'Nahi re, Mujhe Pata Hai. ABHI NAHI HO RAHA HAI loop, But European innings Chahiye Mujhe Phir Mera run Ho Jayega. (Not a buddy. I know that I am currently unable to score runs, but I only need one innings to come back), “Shardul told Revportz.
“He is a more open, so every opener can get off with a new ball. And if you come out with a score of 10 or less, I don't think it should be assessed. He is such a big player, I have so much Games won for India.
“The way he hit the nets. Nothing looked bad with his batting. He looked extremely comfortably into the nets. It was just a matter of bad happiness that runs didn't come.”
Rohit will then be seen in action during the appearance of India's Champions Trophy. The side starts his campaign on February 20 with a match against Bangladesh before he was confronted against Pakistan in a long -awaited collision on 23rd. India then plays new Zeeland in their last league match on March 2.
