It was a tough night for Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League against Peshawar Zalmi on Monday. Despite chasing a low target of 148, Karachi Kings fell two points short. Babar Azam scored a half-century to take Peshawar over 145. In reply, Karachi Kings' chase languished despite a 30-ball 41 lead from Tim Seifert. Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik scored 22 off 25 balls bowled by Afghan star Naveen-ul-Haq. Malik's wife Sana Javed was present at the stadium and was stunned after Malik was clean bowled.

In January, Sania Mirza's family confirmed that the Indian tennis icon and Shoaib Malik had split, a day after the Pakistani cricketer announced his third marriage to actor Sana Javed. Their split marked the end of a high-profile union that had generated great interest among sports fans from the two countries. Malik, 41, then posted his wedding photo with Sana on social media platforms.
“Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been separated for a few months now. She wishes Shoaib all the best for his new journey!” read the statement from Mirza's family.
“At this sensitive period of her life, we would like to request all fans and well-wishers not to indulge in speculations and respect her need for privacy,” the statement said.
The revelation came amid long-standing rumors and speculation surrounding the strained relationship between Malik and Mirza, who married in April 2010 in the Indian player's hometown of Hyderabad.
The rumors gained momentum when Malik recently unfollowed 37-year-old Mirza on Instagram, a move that further fueled speculation about their marital problems.
They have a five-year-old son Izaan, who currently lives with Mirza.
Mirza had hinted at personal struggles in an Instagram post.
“Marriage is hard, divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard, choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard,” she posted in an Instagram Story .
“Communication is hard. Communicating is not hard. Life will never be easy. I will always be hard. But we can make our hard choices. Choose wisely.”
Sania is celebrated as one of India's greatest tennis players and last year announced her retirement from professional tennis after an illustrious career spanning two decades.
She won six Grand Slam titles in doubles and mixed doubles.
