England survived a few nerve-racking moments and came out on Tuesday with a victory of four wickets in Bangladesh in an ODI World Cup 2025 match for ladies in the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati.
The three wickets from Sophie Ecclestone and a crucial collaboration between Heather Knight and Charlie Dean provided the victory for the four -time champion.
Despite the loss of the toss, skipper Nigar Sultana Joty revealed that Bangladesh wanted to hit the first. But the team lost Rubya Haider Jhelik and Joty early on, the latter walked back for nothing.
Sharmin Akter did well at 30, but shortly after the spotlight on and the players paused for a drink, the Slagman Ecclestone pushed to Amy Jones behind the tree stumps. The left arm tweaker put Bangladesh under pressure with three Run-Less overs, of which there were two wicket girls.

Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt helped Ecclestone's stingy saying (3/24) with tight field layouts, such as the use of Tammy Beaumont at a foolish point, which frustrated the battle people. This resulted in Bangladesh only scored 16 points in the period of 21-30.
You saw Joty screaming instructions from the dressing room, perhaps asked her batters to show more intention. The 60 of Sobhana Mostary and the 43 of Rabeya Khan listened to their captain in the counterattack, and Bangladesh collected 178 in 49.4 overs.
Bowlers from Bangladesh had Pakistan in their last game to a low totally limited; Now they had to defend one. And Marufa Akter waved the ball early to eliminate both English openers and to give her team the perfect start.
After Marufa's double stroke, the leg -breaking bowler Fahima Khatun was dancing its way through the English middle class. She saw the back of the established sciver brunt and Sophia Dunkley in the same room before she removed Emma Lamb. Between the 11th and 20th overs, the chasing party scored only 25 runs.
Then Shanjida Aktther Maghla marked her World Cup debut with the Wicket of Alice Capsey, and Bangladesh seemed to have control.
The 79-run partnership between Knight and Dean, however, turned around. The former captain, who almost reflected the Battle of Mostary, won 50 runs in 86 balls after he had enjoyed three delay to push England to the top of the rankings.
