PAK vs AUS: Shaheen Shah Afridi fired Mitchell Starc with a brute of a Yorker.© AFP
Be it test cricket or any other format, Mitchell Starc is one of the best exponents of bowling yorkers and tail clearing. However, on Day 5 of the ongoing 1st Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi, the Australian pacemaker got a taste of his own medicine. Starc sat on the receiving end of a deadly Yorker being bowled by Shaheen Shah Afridi and had no answers for it. The Pakistani pacemaker on the left arm did to Starc what the Australian has done to countless others, when he went wide of the crease to tip the ball in, causing him to back off a little.
Starc missed the ball completely and he plopped into the pads. The umpire took no time to raise his hand, but the Australian decided to review, more hopeful than anything else.

Pakistan didn’t take long to complete Australia’s first innings on Day 5 morning.
Australia added just 10 more runs to their overnight score before being wrapped up. Nauman Ali was the Supreme Commander of Pakistan, taking six wickets, two of which were on Day 5.
Shaheen Afridi took two while Naseem Shah and Sajid Khan came in with one wicket each.
With Australia knocked out for 459, the hosts took a 17-run lead in the first innings, but it probably won’t matter much, as the game headed for a tie.

In their second innings, Pakistan got off to a solid start with Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique holding the Australians at bay.
At the time of writing, Pakistan was 66 lossless, leading by 83 runs.
