Hong Kong spider Ehsan Khan got his team off to a great start in their Asian Cup Group A game against Pakistan on Friday in Sharjah, when he took a sharp catch to take star batter Babar Azam over in the third. Hong Kong won the toss and chose to bowl and Ehsan Khan gave his captain reason to rejoice as he ducked to the right to take a low catch when Babar Azam fell for 9 of 8 deliveries. It was a top performance from Ehsan, especially as it came from his own bowling.

Although the Pakistani skipper entered the tournament in great form, he has not had a great Asia Cup campaign so far. He scored just 10 against India in their first game defeat and again fell cheaply on Friday.
While Hong Kong got off to a good start with the ball, Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman managed to stabilize the ship to Pakistan before a late attack took them to a commendable score of 193/2.
Rizwan went unbeaten on 78 of 57 deliveries, while Fakhar Zaman made 53 of 41.
But the score could have been lower had it not been for Khushdil Shah, who crushed four sixes in the final to finish at 35* out of 15.
