Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by five wickets in their dress rehearsal for the Asian Cup final. After flipping Pakistan for an undersized total of 121, Sri Lanka chased the target with three overs to spare. During the 17th over of the chase, Pakistani players Hasan Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed nearly collided while trying to catch. In the second delivery of the seventeenth left, Mohammad Hasnain handed an off-cutter to Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka, who hit the right to long-on.
Both players escaped the collision and Hasan finally managed to get the ball.
What happened next, however, was totally unexpected.
Though players argue about the same thing in most cases, Hasan and Iftikhar got engaged in a friendly catching practice session while tossing the ball to each other while sitting on the ground.

Sri Lanka dropped to 29 for three in their pursuit before Pathum Nissanka (55 not out) and Bhanuka Rajapaksa (24) tied for 51 as the island nation reached their target with three overs to spare.
“The confidence we have is huge after four consecutive wins, but we are still not taking Pakistan lightly in the final,” Sri Lanka captain Shanaka told reporters after the game.
