Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are among the best hitters in the current era and the opposition can’t take it easy until they’re both on the limit. The duo are the essential cog in the Indian batting lineup and both have the ability to score runs at their own will and pace when it comes to their day. However, Pakistani lead-off hitter Imam-ul-Haq believes that Rohit Sharma has been given talent in abundance and perhaps there is not the same amount of talent in Virat Kohli.
“I have a feeling that the amount of talent that Allah has given to Rohit Sharma, he may not have given it to Virat Kohli. I have seen them both hit, it seems like Rohit is hitting on a repeat. He has a lot of time.” The first time I realized the true meaning of timing, because most of the time I play on the point and I get to know. Virat Kohli beat for me just like Rohit Sharma, but Rohit got a lot of time from Allah,” Imam said on SAMAA News.
“He’s a player who can change the game in two seconds. When he’s ready, he can hit at will. My desire is to give influential performances like Rohit. If I play that style of cricket for Pakistan, I would be very happy,” he added.
In action in India’s ongoing ODI series against England, Rohit Sharma was at his best when he played an unbeaten knock of 76 in the opening match to help his team score a 10-wicket win.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli did not play the first ODI due to a mild groin injury. Virat has witnessed a slump in form, most recently scoring an international century in 2019.
India will face England next in the second ODI on Thursday at Lord’s Cricket Stadium.
