Rajasthan Royals '14-year-old Prodigy, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, shattered several long-term Indian Premier League (IPL) Records during the match from his side against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Monday. Suryavanshi became the fastest Indian Centurion in the IPL history and reached in just 35 balls. He surpassed the previous record of former India Allrounder Yusuf Pathan (37 balls, for Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians in 2010). Suryavanshi is also the youngest Centurion in the IPL history (14 years, 32 days), which exceeds Manish Pandey (19 years 253 days, for royal challengers Bengaluru vs Deccan Chargers in 2009).
Vaibhav Suryavanshi also broke a huge world record. He is now the youngest ever (14 years, 32 days) to score a ton in the T20 format. He broke the record of Maharashtra's Vijay Zol, who scored 118 days against Mumbai at the age of 18 in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy West Zone armor in 2013.
In general, this is the second fastest barrel in the IPL, which just behind the 30-ball knock of Chris Gayle for Royal challengers Bengaluru against Pune Warriors in 2013.
In the fourth over from the chase of RR, the Southpaw from Bihar's 105-test veteran was brought down Sharma, so he hit 28 runs, including three 6s and two 4S. He also skipped debutant Karim Janat for 30 points in the 10th.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi had previously become the youngest seizure to score a fifty in T20s. He broke the record of Hassan Eisakhil, son of the former Afghanistan skipper Mohammad Nabi, who at the age of 15 and 360 days 50 hit and played for Boostdefenders in the Shpageeza League 2022 match against Kabul Eagles.
He was eventually fired at 101 (38 balls) by Prasidh Krishna.
