This comes after Rinku revealed that his father refused to give up his job despite his success in cricket.
“I told my father to relax now because we have enough not to carry cylinders, but he still does it and loves his job,” he told Free Press Journal.
The cricketer added, “When someone has worked all his life, it is difficult to tell him to stop unless he wants to.”
Born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rinku has been retained by KKR ahead of IPL 2024 for Rs 55 lakh. He was first acquired by KKR in 2018 for INR 80 lakh. Though the first season didn't turn out to be great, his potential was taken into account and he was retained for IPL 2019 as well.
