Adil Rashid fires Babar Azam for 32© Twitter
Adil Rashid, arguably the best leg spinner in the 2022 T20 World Cup, has lit the tournament with his performance. The English spinner is incredibly difficult to play in Australia, especially if the batters are looking for fast runs. In the final against Pakistan on Sunday, Rashid gave England two important wickets in the form of Mohammad Haris and Babar Azam. It was Babar’s dismissal that earned him high praise. In addition to throwing a spectacular delivery, Rashid packed a stunning catch to wrap the Pakistani skipper.
On the very first pitch of the 12th over, Rashid threw a wrong’un at Babar who tried to cut the ball and eventually shattered it in mid-air. Rashid went forward and claimed a beautiful dive catch to win his battle against Azam.

But when he got into the final stages of the tournament, the leg spinner produced incredible figures of 1/16 and 1/20 against Sri Lanka and India respectively.
