Zimbabwe led by Craig Ervine defeated Bangladesh by 10 runs in the third and final T20I on Tuesday to win the series 2-1. At one point, Zimbabwe struggled 67/6 in the 13th over while hitting first, but Ryan Burl scored a 54-run rapid-fire from just 28 balls to help Zimbabwe to 156/8 in 20 overs. Victor Nyauchi then returned by three wickets as Zimbabwe recorded a 10-point victory to seal the series 2-1.
It was in the 15th over of Zimbabwe’s at bats that the momentum was brought to the hosts. Ryan Burl hit 34 runs in the over bowled by Nasum Ahmed, including five sixes and one four.
On the first four balls of the over, Burl hit sixes and on the fifth ball he hit a four. Then, again on the last ball from the over, he maxed out and took 34 runs from the over.

Chasing 156, Bangladesh needed at least one batter to stay on the crease for a long time, but this turned out not to be the case. For the visitors, Afif Hossain scored the highest score with an unbeaten run of 39.

Zimbabwe had won the first T20I by 17 runs, while Bangladesh had won the second by 7 wickets. In the decision, however, the hosts kept their nerve to seal the game.
Both teams will now play a three-game ODI series, which begins on August 5 in Harare.
