Cryptocurrency Price Today: All major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, continued to expand their gains for the third straight day as the situation finally picked up momentum. Cryptocurrencies haven’t had a great year so far, with the global crypto market wiping out most of its gains in 2021 and slipping back below the $1 trillion levels earlier this month after a market crash. However, since three days it has been slowly creeping up to regain that level. On Saturday, June 25, the global cryptocurrency market rose 2.67 percent in the past 24 hours to $954.13 billion at the time of writing this article, according to data.
“The Indian Crypto market continued to rise, rising 3.67 percent in 24 hours as of 4 p.m. Friday, data from Crypto Rupee Index, CRE8 shows. The index again outperformed the global crypto markets, which are up 3 percent in the past 24 hours, reaching a total market cap of $988 billion. Layer 1 protocol tokens have witnessed solid purchases, with ETH and SOL leading the way in terms of price gains,” said Parth Chaturvedi, crypto ecosystem leader at CoinSwitch.
Bitcoin regained traction to an inch above $21,000 on the day and remained comfortable. The price of Bitcoin has risen nearly 4 percent in the past week. Bitcoin price is up 1.40 percent today in the past 24 hours to trade at $21,220.74 at the time of writing this article, data from CoinMarketCap showed. Ethereum also hit the $1,200 mark that day. Ether price rose 6.29 percent to $1,214.56 today as of the writing of this article.
“From a macro perspective, Fed Chair Powell testified in Congress that cutting inflation remains the Fed’s main concern as several Fed representatives came forward to support another 75 bp rate hike in July. Asian markets took his comments well and were all in the green, up 1 percent. European indices are sharply higher today, with France’s CAC 40 leading the region, up 2.2 percent. The main reason for the jump is the sharp fall in copper prices and commodity prices in general, indicating a slowdown in rising inflation. New home sales figures in the US will be released on Friday and will be closely monitored by market observers,” Chaturvedi added.
