BollyCoin, a platform that transacts digital assets using NFTs or non-functioning tokens, has announced that it is all set to unfold its PFP NFT collection, making it a first to use a Bollywood-based NFT collection as a gateway to all kinds of Bollywood experiences, events and even wearables in the metaverse.
The platform, with which Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been associated, has said that the upcoming NFT offering will be a limited-event PFP (Profile Picture) collection inspired by Chulbul Pandey, with each NFT holder periodically receiving official ‘Dabangg’ wearables that are compatible with Decentraland and Sandbox will be broadcast.
An NFT holder can get accessories, outfits, or entire skins, depending on the NFT they pack. BollyCoin partners with the famous Cope Studio (which was recently acquired by Polygon) to create advanced NFTs. “With millions of people around the world using NFTs, just ordinary collectible NFTs, the thrill of metavers utility will provide heightened excitement to NFT holders,” BollyCoin said in a press release on April 1 on Friday.
“Salman Khan charmed his way into the collective hearts of moviegoers in his portrayal of Chulbul Pandey, the sweet, feisty cop in the ‘Dabangg’ franchise. And now Khan loyalists have a reason to rejoice with a special NFT collection around him that only NFT holders can use,” the press release said.
With the latest announcement, an NFT holder could get accessories, outfits, or entire skins, depending on the NFT they’re packing. BollyCoin partners with the famous Cope Studio (which was recently acquired by Polygon) to create advanced NFTs. And that’s not all. The NFT holders also get exclusive access to special virtual Bollywood events in the Metaverse. Imagine the performances of the industry’s most exciting artists, coupled with mini-games and interactions with celebrities – all of which take place in a virtual playground that celebrates the most vibrant film industry in the world,” it said.
