The work of Union City, NJ, ceramicist Jono Pandolfi graces the tables of a number of restaurants, including Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Nougatine. This month, he’s offering a serving set designed for Mr. Vongerichten’s Seeds & Weeds, a restaurant opening soon in the Tin Building Market in the Seaport District. The set is part of a series of special editions offered monthly; the next one will be released on August 5. The Vongerichten set consists of an oval red bowl and three white bowls of different sizes with hand-painted red stripes. The glazes that Mr. Pandolfi on his clay pieces create a look that is both rustic and polished.
