After months of waiting, the result of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2021 will be announced on ctet.nic.in. Out of the more than 27.73 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, a whopping 6.65 lakh candidates passed the exam. As many as 4,45,467 candidates qualified Paper I and 2,20,069 approved Paper II.
The candidates’ CTET 2021 marking sheets and qualifying certificates will be uploaded on DigiLocker shortly, the CBSE board, the examination management body, has announced. Candidates will need their mobile number and credentials to check the grades.
“The result of the 15th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, held from December 16, 2021 to January 21, 2022, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, has been published and is available on the CTET website, i.e. https://ctet. nic.in and CBSE website ie https://cbse.nic.in,” the official message reads.
CTET Result 2021: How To Check?
Step 1: Login to the official website – www.ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link CTET December 2021 Result.
Step 3: Enter your login details such as role number and click submit.
Step 4: Your CTET 2021 result will be displayed.
Step 5: Print the result after downloading for future reference
Candidates should check them carefully upon receipt of the scorecards. It contains their name, application number, paper they applied for and scores. In case of any discrepancy, report it to the authorities immediately.
The minimum cut-off in the CTET 2021 exam is 60 percent. Candidates who achieve grades equal to or greater than the cut-off are eligible. The exam took place between December 16 and January 21.
The CTET score applies to schools run by the central government such as KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, and also to schools run by the UTs of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and the National Capital Territory of Delhi. It may also apply to unassisted private schools that choose to hire CTET qualified applicants.
CTET is held twice a year. The result is from the second session of 2021. In the first session or the January CTET attempt, of the over 1.47 lakh candidates, only 4.14 lakh qualified in paper 1. In paper 2, out of over 11 lakh candidates candidates who registered for the exam, a whopping 2.29 lakh passed it.
