At a time when the students’ parents were crying for their deceased son, the village chiefs tried to convince the parents to receive Rs 1 lakh from the headmaster as compensation for the crime and asked them not to file a complaint with the police.
In a shocking incident, a 9-year-old student is said to have died while running away from his principal who beat him up.
According to reliable sources, the principal of a primary school in Telangana had sent Anees, a 9-year-old class 4 student, on September 22 to have some documents copied.
Anees returned to school very late, which angered the headmaster. The headmaster turned the pupil’s ears. While looking for a stick to beat Anees, to escape punishment, Anees tried to flee from the scene and fell to the ground, sources say.
Doctors suggest the boy suffered serious injuries after the fall that caused instant death.
The parents of the deceased claim that when they approached their village chiefs, they offered an amount of Rs 1 lakh to rescue the headmaster and solve the case. Anees’ family is from Gundaram village in Nizamabad, a rural Mandal in Nizamabad district.
