Meet Ananya Singh, from Prayagraj, who only became an IAS officer at the age of 22. After only a year of preparation, she managed to pass one of the most difficult exams – the UPSC Civil Services Exam. Singh scored an All India Rank of 51.
Singh wanted to be an IAS officer since childhood. She started preparing for the UPSC exam in the last year of graduating. Initially, she studied 7-8 hours a day. Later, she established a six-hour study schedule. She was also preparing for the prelims and main exams of the UPSC at the same time.

After she passed the UPSC exam, she shared his strategy. She started collecting books according to the syllabus. She also made hand notes. The notes had two advantages, she says: First, they were short and clear, which helped a lot with preparation and revision. By the way, while writing notes, the answers are registered in the mind.
Singh has always been a top performer since childhood. She completed her education from St Mary’s Convent School, Prayagraj. She had scored 96 percent in the 10th board exam, while 98.25 percent in the 12th. The young bird has been top of the CISCE board in both the 10th and the 12th district. After completing her schooling, Singh obtained a degree in economics from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, affiliated with Delhi University.

She had appeared in the UPSC CSE of the year 2019 and achieved a rank of 51. Singh says that after seeing the result of the government exam, she could not believe in her rank herself. She had fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming an IAS officer at the age of 22. IAS Ananya Singh is currently placed under West Bengal.
