The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has published the datasheet for the High School Leaving Certificate Examinations (HSLC) 2023. Candidates scheduled to appear for the Class 10 exams in March next year can view the full exam schedule on the official website, sebaonline.org.
According to the timetable, the class 10 exam will start on March 3 next year with the English paper. The exams will conclude on March 20 with subjects – advanced math, history, geography and others.
The HSLC exam is administered in two shifts. The first is a morning shift that starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM. The next is an afternoon shift that runs from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. The duration of the papers is 3 hours.
Students are given an extra 5 minutes in both sessions to read the questionnaire before the exam starts. Candidates are advised to reach their assigned center half an hour to 1 hour before the exams. They should also remember to have their room tickets with them while they go to the newspaper, otherwise they will not be allowed in.
Assam Board HSLC 2023 Exams: Preparation Tips
Students preparing for the Assam HSLC Exam 2023 should read the entire Assam Class 10 syllabus thoroughly. In addition, they should focus on solving and analyzing the questions of the past year. This introduces them to the test pattern and number scheme. It will benefit the students if they spend more time on revision.
Meanwhile, on February 24 and 25, Assam class 10 practical exams will be held. The practical exam follows the same shift pattern as the theory paper. The practical exam will also take place in theory exam centers this year.
