Assam DElEd Counseling 2023 Registration Begins at scertpet.co.in – News18

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam, has started the DElEd pre-entry test (PET) 2023 counseling process at the state level. Candidates who have successfully cleared the exam can register for the counseling process on the official website at scertpet.co.in. The last date to apply for counseling is September 30. The Assam DElEd PET was held on September 10 and the results were declared on September 25.

As per the official schedule, the district and category classes will be announced on October 3. The seat allotment results for the first round of admissions will be announced on October 5. Document verification will begin on October 6 and 7. The vacancy list after Round 1 and the seat allotment list for Round 2 will be announced on October 11. The list of seat allocations for round 3 will be released on October 27 and the fourth and final one on November 3.

“Please consider the following points before applying for counseling: Applicants must verify their profile. Applicants are advised to select an institute based on their preference,” read the official notice.

The pre-entry test is conducted every year in Assam for admission to the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) course offered by NCTE recognized teacher training colleges including DIET, CTE, Normal School, BTC and Private TEIs.
