The CFA Institute has released the results of the August 2023 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 2 exam. Aspiring candidates can access their Level 2 results via the CFA Institute’s official website at cfainstitute.org. To access their individual results, candidates must provide their login details, including their registration number and date of birth.
Pass rate figures for the CFA exams will also be announced with this year’s Level 2 results. This cycle saw a 44 percent pass rate among candidates who passed the exam. However, it is worth noting that the previous government had a marginally higher pass rate, with 52 percent of candidates successfully passing the CFA Level 2 exam.
CFA Level 2 results 2023: how to check
Step 1: Visit the CFA Institute’s official website by going to cfainstitute.org.
Step 2: Select the CFA Level 2 course option, which will take you to the relevant page.
Step 3: Enter your verified credentials, including your registered email address and password, to log in.
Step 4: Once you have logged in, select the “Results” option to access your Level 2 results.
Step 5: The detailed CFA Level 2 result will be displayed on your screen for review.
Step 6: You can download your CFA Level 2 result and take a printout for future reference.
The institute has already published the results of the CFA Level 1 exam. There has been a decline in the pass rate this year compared to both the previous exam and the 10-year historical average. Notably, for the CFA August Level 1 exam in 2023, the pass rate has fallen by 2 percentage points to 37 percent. This contrasts with the average pass rate over a ten-year period, which has consistently remained at 41 percent.
