Amid several state boards announcing 10th and 12th exam results and the CBSE result announcement just around the corner, 10th and 12th grade students have a cloud of fear over their heads. In an effort to fuel motivation, a 2009 IAS officer, Awanish Sharan, recently shared his class 10 marksheet on the social media platform Twitter. Sharan, who belonged to the Chhattisgarh cadres of the government services, managed to get a total of 314 out of 700 in UPSC.
Stamped with the third division by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Sharan emerged as an example of how numbers don’t matter when charting a person’s success. Sharan’s grade list showed that the IAS officer got a total of 31 out of 100 points for math. Also in the social sciences Sharan barely passed with a score of 19 out of 50 for Geography. The pass grades assigned to the subject were 15. A similar pattern can be seen in other subjects as well. View the marksheet here:

Since the post was shared, it has racked up nearly 23,000 likes and recorded hundreds of comments from netizens. “Markers don’t matter. Dreams matter,” wrote one user. “A year’s result alone cannot determine your destiny,” wrote another, labeling the post “inspiring.” One user said: “Inspiring and exemplary for every student.”

Most students do not know what to do in life when they do their academic education. So jo kahte hai: follow your ambition. Do what you want dilo in life is just a sentence. Waise bhot kam bache hote hain jinhe malum hota hai unhe life me kya banna hai
