The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has canceled the state services’ 67th preliminary inquiry after the questionnaire was found on social media platforms. As soon as reports of a question letter circulating reached authorities, a committee was set up to validate the claims. The committee had confirmed that the questionnaire in circulation is the same as the one that would be given to the students on May 8. Now the committee is considering calling in the help of cyber cell to investigate the matter further.
When the committee had reached its conclusion, a large number of students had appeared for the exam. However, the questionnaire was on WhatsApp before the start of the exam. According to reactions from test subjects, it was the set-C that had been leaked online.

While the BPSC does not yet know how the question paper was leaked, the opposition has taken to Twitter to criticize the commission. Opposition Leader – Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav had tweeted: “Bihar Public Service Commission, which has destroyed the lives of millions of young people and candidates of Bihar, should now be renamed ‘Bihar Public Paper Leak Commission’.”
बिहार के करोड़ों युवाओं और अभ्यर्थियों का जीवन बर्बाद करने वाले बिहार लोक सेवा आयोग का नाम बदलकर अब “बिहार लोक पेपर लीक आयोग” कर देना चाहिए।— Tejashwi Yadav (@yadavtejashwi) May 8, 2022
Many students have also recorded small videos of the BPSC exam centers claiming that the committee is running a scam. The videos being circulated show that the exam started much earlier than the scheduled time for “selective students” while others were still trying to get into the exam hall.
The 67th BPSC exam was held in the state for more than 6 lakh candidates in 38 districts and 1083 exam centers.
