The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the results of the competitive examination for appointment of school teachers (class 1-5). Candidates who have appeared for the exam can now view and download their results online from the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) at bpsc.bih.nic.in. It should be noted that the results for each subject are ranked in order of merit.
As many as 1,22,324 candidates have qualified for the Bihar Public Service Commission Teacher Recruitment Exam (BPSC TRE). Deputy Chief Minister of the state Tejashwi Yadav congratulated the candidates through microblogging site X. According to reports, the committee will upload all the results on the Durga Puja website. BPSC will fill 1,70,461 vacancies through the recruitment drive.
Moreover, a total of 70,450 candidates secured success in both general and Urdu subjects in the BPSC exams conducted on August 24 and 25 as per advertisement number 26/2023. Of these successful candidates, 62,653 excelled in the general subject. This group consists of 25,744 from the without reserves category, 7,584 from the SC category, 501 from the ST category, 6,702 from the economically weaker section, 8,040 from the BC category, 12,069 from the EBC category and 2,013 from the BC Lady category.
In the case of Urdu subject, the committee announced a total of 7,797 successful candidates. This group includes 5,344 candidates from the unreserved category, 594 from the economically weaker section, 566 from the BC category, 2 candidates from each of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories, and 1,289 from the EBC category.
Moreover, the Commission has also released the merit list and district allotment list of BPSC Bihar PRT Result 2023. It has also announced the BPSC TRE Result 2023 for subjects of class 11-12 namely Bhojpuri, Magahi, Music, Botany, Home Economics, Entrepreneurship and Political Science.
Bihar TRE Result 2023: Steps to Download
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
Step 2: Under the ‘Results’ section on the homepage, candidates will find options for both General and Urdu subjects
Step 3: Click on the subject you want to check the result.
Step 4: After clicking, a PDF document with the results for the selected topic will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Review the list of successful candidates and search for your roll number in the PDF to see if you qualify for the teacher appointment exam.
Step 6: Download the PDF to your computer or device.
BPSC has issued a notification with reference to advertisement number 26/2023 for the competitive examination for teacher appointment under the Bihar State School Teachers (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Actions and Conditions of Service) Rules 2023. As per clause 5 (ii) of the appointment Rules 2023 , education and training standards as per the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) standards are mandatory for the posts of primary school teachers (grades 1-5). The notice emphasizes that qualifications of candidates will be recognized based on the decision of the department in consultation with the NCTE.
