The experts have suggested that those in the 98th percentile will have an overall score of 80, while those in the 95th are likely to be those with a score of 66.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 was conducted on 27 November by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore. The institute completed the examination of all three slots on that day without any problems.

Now the students eagerly await the announcement of the results. The CAT 2022 answer key is expected to be released this week, followed by the results. However, students don’t have to wait long to get a rough idea of how they performed as several coaching institutions make their answer keys available. Students can also now check estimated percentile-based cutoffs thanks to a chart prepared by experts at IMS India.

According to a report by DailyExpertNews, experts from IMS India had prepared a cutoff percentile chart for slots 1 and 2 even before the slot three exam was over. They came up with these numbers based on candidate feedback. According to IMS India predictions, candidates who get an overall score of 101 can expect to be placed in the 99.5th percentile, while those who get 91 can expect to be placed in the 99th percentile.

The experts have suggested that those in the 98th percentile will have an overall score of 80, while those in the 95th are likely to be those with a score of 66. The lowest cutoff would be the 80th percentile, consisting of candidates who have a total of 40 points scored. .

Each IIM makes available a list of shortlisted candidates on its website. Shortlisted candidates will also receive their application letters directly. Those who have passed the CAT then move on to the next round of selection.

IIMs will require candidates to show their grade sheets and submit certified copies as proof of eligibility at the time of the interview. Applicants selected for a program must also provide their original diploma and grade sheets for each semester along with their certified copies for validation at the time of admission to the program.
