The Central Council of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold class 10 and class 12 board exams from February 15, 2023. “In light of mitigating the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic around the world, the Board of Directors has decided to conduct 2023 exams from February 15, 2023,” CBSE said in an official statement as it released the announced class 12 exam results for 2022.

Unlike 2022, when the exams were split into two terms, CBSE has decided that next academic year will go back to annual exams. CBSE said in an earlier announcement that splitting exams into two terms was a “one time measure” in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the pandemic effect has worn off, the board will resume its annual exam schedule.
This time the exams were postponed. Now Board is trying another step toward normalcy. In addition, CBSE has also revised the syllabus. After taking exams on a reduced syllabus for almost two years. CBSE goes back to 100% syllabus. The College will rationalize the syllabus again with the help of experts.

Not only CBSE, but also CISCE has decided to reverse the policy for two exams per year. This policy is designed to make board exams a low bet.
While announcing two board exams, CBSE had said the new criteria are “consistent with the board’s continued focus on assessing established learning outcomes by making exam competences and core concepts based, student-centered, transparent, technology-driven and pre-provisioned. of alternatives for different future scenarios”
CBSE has declared class 12 board exams. This year, of the 14,44,341 students who registered for the exams, no fewer than 1435366 students appeared. Of these, 1330662 students passed the exams. The overall success rate is 92.71%. This is down from last year’s 99.37%, but compared to pre-pandemic levels, the results are better.
