As the admission procedures begin for most of the top colleges and universities including Mumbai University, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the final results for Class 10 and Class 12 soon. Class 12 results are likely to be announced first, followed by class 10. If the reports are to be believed, class 12 students can expect their results in the first week of July, and class 10 results will likely be in the to be announced in the third week of July, however, CBSE has not yet provided confirmation. For the past two years, CBSE publishes result data a few hours before the result.
More than 35 lakh students eagerly await their results. This year’s results are special because the board has conducted the exams twice in two terms. It was the first time CBSE had taken exams twice in the same year. From the 2023 academic session, the CBSE will return to the annual examination every year. This year the final result includes the marks obtained in period 1, period 2 and internal assessment.

The final formula will be announced together with the result. Once the results are out, students will be able to check their Class 10 and Class 12 results through the official website, cbse.nic.in. However, as has been shown in the past, the CBSE website sometimes crashes due to sudden traffic. Hence, one can opt for alternative methods including UMANG app or DigiLocker to check their results.
CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2022: How To Check Through UMANG App
Step 1: Login to UMANG app with your registered mobile number
Step 2: Now click on ‘all services’
Step 3: Then select CBSE option from the menu
Step 4: Click on the Class whose results you want to see
Step 5: Enter your role number and other required credentials and the result will be displayed on the screen
CBSE 10th, 12th Result 2022: How to Check via DigiLocker
Step 1: Visit digilocker.gov.in or open the DigiLocker app
Step 2: Now log in with your mobile number. Choose CBSE option and then select Class 10 Result 2022 or Class 12 Result 2022
Step 3: Fill in the required information and proceed
Step 4: The result will appear on the screen
CBSE will announce student results even if they missed one of the two semesters of the final exam, but students may be asked to provide proof of reason. If a student is absent in both block 1 and block 2, the board cannot calculate results for the students. Such students will have to appear for the exam next year.
