CBSE has also revised the syllabus and is conducting exams with 100 percent syllabus, almost two years after reducing it. At least 40 percent of questions in the 2023 CBSE Class 10 exam and 30 percent in the 2023 CBSE Class 12 exams will be competency-based, the Department of Education said.
Under the revised exam pattern, questions will come in a variety of formats, including objective type, constructive answer type, assertion and reasoning, and case-based problems. The written exams will be worth 80 points, while the internal assessments or practicals will be worth 20 points.
