The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the class 12 sociology paper of the term 2 exams today, May 6. According to students and experts, the question paper was good and the students were happy with the exam. The questions were mostly application and inference. The paper had a total of four sections and contained long and short typing questions.
“The questions were predictable but mainly application-oriented. There were direct questions in marks four and six, while the short answer questions were all inference-based. Special markings were given for examples, which is a first. This will help students use a case study-based approach to justify a concept. Overall, the paper was very good and the students were very happy,” said Debjani Banerjee, HOD Psychology, Sociology and Home Science, Shiv Nadar School, Gurugram.

According to the CBSE term 2 Sociology sample paper, the question paper will have four sections: A, B, C and D with a total of 14 questions. While two questions will be one-digit source questions, seven questions will be two-digit very short answer type questions, three questions will be four point short answer type questions, and the two remaining questions will be six-digit long answer type questions. be answer.
The CBSE Sociology exam consisted of 14 questions, all of which were compulsory. It was divided into four sections. The first section had a one point question and the word limit was 10-15. The second section had two-point questions and the word limit was 30. The third section had four-point questions and the maximum word limit was 80, while the last section consisted of six-point questions with a 200-word limit.

The students appeared for their personal written exam after a break of almost two years. The first term only had answers to MCQ-type questions. The board conducts the exam in 6,720 centers across the country.
