CBSE Class 9 and 11 exam registration details must be submitted before October 25 without late fees on the board’s website cbse.gov.in
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting registration details for students of Class 9 and Class 11. According to the October 6 circular, the new deadline for submitting CBSE Class 9 and 11 registration details on the board’s website cbse.gov.in now October 25, and no late fees will be charged until this date. For students who need more time and choose to submit their tuition fees at a late rate, the last date to submit the registration form is from October 26 to October 29.
“Considering the various responses received from schools, the schedule for submission of registration details of Class IX, Students can check the official notification from the board through the official website, cbse.gov.in.
The CBSE mentioned the importance of not only following the registration schedule but also ensuring that the data added by the students is correct. “Subsequently, CBSE issued four reminders dated August 17, September 6, September 20 and September 26, reminding schools to fill in their details and fill the details of students and subjects in the LOC correctly. Thereafter, it was also mentioned that subject correction after submission of LOC will not be entertained in any manner,” CBSE added.
Schools were previously advised by the board to keep accurate and up-to-date data ready for the registration process. It is essential to emphasize that only candidates whose names are submitted through the online data submission registration process will be eligible to appear for the Class 10 and 12 examinations during the academic session 2024-25.
The registration fee for Indian students appearing for Class 9 and Class 11 examinations is Rs 300. International students, on the other hand, have to pay a registration fee of Rs 500 for Class 9 and Rs 600 for Class 11. In case of late registration, Indian students will have to pay a late fee of Rs 2,300, while international students will be charged a late fee of Rs 2,500 for Class 9 and Rs 2,600 for Class 11.
