CBSE CTET Result 2023: Candidates who have cleared the exam can check the results on the official websites at ctet.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) result 2023 for the August session. Candidates who have taken the exam can check the results on the official websites at ctet.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE released the provisional answer keys of CTET 2023 on September 15. The last date to appeal the answer key was September 18. After reviewing the answer key, CBSE has now released the result.
As per the marking scheme of CBSE CTET, candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. To successfully pass the exam, candidates belonging to the unqualified category must score a minimum of 60 percent, or 90 out of 150 marks. While students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and People with Disabilities (PWD) categories need to score 55 percent, or 82 out of 150, to pass the exam .
CTET 2023 Result: Steps to Check
Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE CTET – ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the results link on the home page
Step 3: Enter the login details
Step 4: The result will appear on the screen
Step 5. Download and save the page for further use.
This year, over 29 lakh candidates had registered for CBSE CTET 2023. Of the total, around 80 percent of the candidates who had registered appeared for the exam. According to the CBSE, of the total, 15,01,719 candidates have registered for Paper 1 (for classes 1 to 5), of which 14,02,184 have registered for Paper 2 (for classes 6 to 8). The 17th edition of CTET was held at 3,121 exam centers across India in 136 cities. While 80 percent of the registered candidates had appeared for the exam.
While Paper 1 is held for teaching classes 1 to 6, Paper 2 is held for candidates who aspire to teach classes 6 and above. Those who successfully clear the exam must then apply to various schools that hire teachers through the CTET 2023 exam score. The CTET 2023 scorecard is valid for life.
