Prior to Republic Day, the Central Council of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked its member schools to play promo videos of the “highlights of Republic day parade” at the school. The board has informed the schools about the five promo videos made by the Ministry of Defense and how to download them. Furthermore, the board urged the students, faculty and their families to register and watch the live stream of the Republic Day Parade on January 26 and the Beating the Retreat Ceremony on January 29, 2022.
“The Department of Defense has developed a website www.indianrdc.mod.gov.in and a YouTube channel, ‘Indian RDC’, to virtually host the events. For registration, a webpage has been designed by MyGov for the users to register themselves along with their family members to watch the online streaming of Republic Day and Beating the Retreat Ceremony 2022 on the MyGov website. The registration is done via OTP based authentication via mobile.

A digital certificate is jointly issued to the user by MoD and MyGov after successful registration to view the events online. The registration will allow the users to get the live stream link for the RDC Parade along with various updates on Republic Day activities on their registered mobile numbers, the board said in its press release on Sunday.
The board added that the Ministry of Defense has produced five promotional videos highlighting the Republic to celebrate the 75 glorious years of India’s independence as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
“You are requested to play these videos during recess in your schools, while performing videos can also be played on weekends so that the highlights for
Republic Day 2022 can be distributed among the citizens of India”, read the notice from the board. In addition, students and parents are also encouraged to register themselves to watch the live stream parade and the Beating the Retreat ceremony.
